BioI work for a large research university as an investigator conducting formal, fact finding investigations of complaints of discrimination, sexual harassment and retaliation. I like my work, but details are confidential and the work can be stressful. LJ is where I like to focus on the best things in my life: my two daughters, my dear husband, my friends and all the day to day joys and foibles that make going to work to earn a living worth while. I maintain a box seat well to the left of the political spectrum, I am a vegetarian, an environmentalist, a Methodist, and a third generation native Southern Californian. Something about the way that I speak makes people think that I am a) British or b) some how related to Katherine Hepburn. I have no idea why.
